A good tip when packing is to pack in your carry on luggage a change of clothes, swimmers, toothbrush and any important medication, just in case your luggage gets delayed. This way you can still jump straight into holiday mode- while we help with get your luggage sorted.

The Climate in Santo is very pleasant and you will generally only need summer clothing, shirts and shorts, summer dresses, and swimmers.

Unfortunately accidents happen or you get sick while on holidays. We recommend you take out travel insurance.
If you need first aid I am a nurse and can offer some assistance and if needed we can take you to the local clinic or hospital or call the local ambulance service.

We are not on the main island, therefore if you fly to Port Vila first you need a connecting domestic flight to Santo (60 minute flight).
The main town in Santo is called Luganville.
The easiest way to get to Santo is via air Solomons.
We are on the east coast of Santo.
about 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from town.
If you book directly with us you will receive complimentary airport transfers.

If you would like to visit a local village, or school or even the hospital to give some donations please let us know, so we can try and help with the arrangements.

- school donations include writing books, pencils, balls etc, wooden puzzles.

For your groceries, we recommend the following shops:
-LCM - Santo's most complete little supermarket, has pantry items, BBQ hot chicken, fresh bread, some fresh fruit and vegetables, and meat and fish.
-Daming - General food and butcher.
-Wong CC's - General food and butcher.
-Mummas market - Fresh stock of organic seasonal fruits and vegetables, take coins or small notes.
-Paradise Meats- Butcher.
Breakfast
We will supply a continental breakfast for your first morning, which will include fresh seasonal fruit cereal, bread, tea coffee and juice.
Please let us know prior to your arrival if you have any food allergies.

Santo has many dinning out options, a few resorts nearby such as barrier beach (adults only) or turtle bay and black pearl ( family friendly)
Or head into town and there's natangora cafe, the Tui restaurant, or Thai cuisine, plus more.
Or if you want a home cooked style meal but with out the hassle of shopping and cooking we can recommend Natanara Kitchen, which will deliver meals ( with notice), if you want this arranged prior to your arrival please contact us to send you the menu.

You can exchange money at the banks or ask us for other options. There are a few ATMs in town
